Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

On the edge of the town centre, restaurants, wine bars, shopping centre, supermarkets are all within a 5-10 minute walk; together with museums, theatres, cinemas, castle, quayside, riverside footpaths and cycleways etc. Historic Williamson Park with the magnificent Ashton Memorial is also within walking distance. Lodge view cottage ,is a cottage with ground and first floor accommodation upstairs are 3 bedrooms one double and 2 twin , with a bathroom with bath and over bath shower there is an additional WC downstairs. along with a lounge , Kitchen diner with all appliances ,outside is a patio area where there are table and chairs and use of a BBQ. The cottage has WFI and car park at the side . It is situated in the beautiful valley of Quernmore on a working dairy farm.
