We have a unique barn attached to our farmhouse in an area called Sowood between Halifax and Huddersfield with panoramic far reaching views. We are situated up a bridlepath with plenty of privacy and tranquility but still within easy reach of motorway networks with the M62 being a 5 minute drive away. With a huge amount of local attractions close by, our barn is perfectly placed for long country walks, bike rides, day trips out and is equipped with all you need for a great getaway.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Close to Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, there are beautiful walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, which is 800m from the Pennine Bridleway. There is a wood burning stove (we provide a starter pack of logs) and well-behaved dogs are welcome. A king-sized bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge make this the perfect venue for couples, friends or parents and child!
