The Old Cattle Barn - Splendid Yorkshire getaway!

The Old Cattle Barn is a part of a charming 18th century farmhouse set halfway up a steep and picturesque hillside in the peaceful Calder Valley. The cosy space is newly renovated and designed for a perfect home away from home experience. To the rear of the property is a direct footpath to the Pennine Bridle Way. Just a few minutes walk will immerse you in stunning panoramic views where you can take in the wild and rugged beauty of the Yorkshire moors. You won't believe Manchester is so close.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Upside down stone Bothy on Marsden Moor

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Tucked away, yet close to the centre of Colne, Ivy Nest is a unique cosy cottage which has retained many original quirky features. This special place is close to everything, including nearby shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance on the doorstep. It's also close to great walking, with Pendle Hill and Wycollar close by, also Skipton and Bronte Country a short journey away. The Bolt Hole @ The Cornmill Luddenden West Yorks

The Bolt Hole is a spacious, cosy home from home in the picturesque village of Luddenden, situated between Halifax and Hebden Bridge. This is an ideal stop for a short break or for a longer holiday. This property has secure off road parking for 2 cars - an advantage as parking in the village is very limited. We have an EV charger. The Countryside is favoured by walkers (like us) and cyclists. We can recommend easy and more difficult walks from the property as well as those further afield.

On the edge of the Pennine Moors with country walks from the doorstep this modern annex is in a peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac in Trawden. The village has a great pub, cafe and community shop with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill, Hebden Bridge and the Yorkshire Dales are under half an hour drive away. Off road parking, peaceful garden with superb views. A welcome pack of milk, bread, butter & jams, cereals, tea, coffee provided.

Cosy central heated Wooden log cabin/lodge surrounded by beautiful countryside views. Ideal for those wanting to be a mile from our local village but in a quiet area. Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.
