This unique place has a style all its own. A glass roof floods the living space with natural light. Seperate Main double bedroom & 2nd Cosy attic mezzanine double bed space & chill out area. Luxurious deep copper tub & fab kitchen with patio doors onto maturely planted courtyard space. The house has a beautiful park at the bottom of the street, lots of food places on your doorstep. excellent public transport into Manchester City centre which is 3 miles. Close to hospital’s & universities.

1750's cottage with open fire and beams

Take it easy at this unique and cosy cottage with a real open fire and original beams. The cottage was constructed in approximately 1750 during the reign of George II. The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.

The historic village of Chapeltown is ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. A stone’s throw away is the friendly pub, offering great pub food. A 5 minute walk will take you to the Wayoh reservoir and surrounding areas leading to Entwistle and Jumbles Country park. Turton Tower is a short walk away and Bromley Cross train station is 1.5 miles with a direct line to Manchester and Clitheroe. The Lancashire cycle way runs past the doorstep as does as the cycling stage of Ironman uk.

This superb home looks out onto the village cricket green and from the rear, picturesque views of Brinscall Woods, Great Hill, Winter Hill, Rivington and the West Pennine Moors. You may walk, run or cycle from the front or the rear gate into miles of upland moorlands, tree lined valleys, rivers and reservoirs.

This delightful “Guest Studio” is situated just a short 3 minute stroll from the centre of Lymm village, where you will find good restaurants, pubs & bars. The “Guest Studio” is at the end of our garden and therefore separated over 100 yards from our main house. You will have your own separate entrance and there is a guest private parking space immediately outside. The “Guest Studio” overlooks our garden which you are more than welcome to use in the vicinity of the “Studio”.
