Ideal location if cycling or walking the South Downs, visiting Glyndebourne ,doing tours of either Rathfinny vineyard or the Long man brewery,exploring the beautiful National Park or just escaping the city for a weekend . They have own area for sitting and alfresco meals but are welcome to potter around the garden which is in its infancy and gardeners are welcome to add their advice on planting etc ! I am delighted to meet guests and am here to answer questions .I have been in the tourist trade for twenty three years running Centres at Bewl Water and SevenSisters Country Park so am happy to help with advice on where to visit ,best places to eat locally etc .However I am also very aware that guests come to relax,chill out and enjoy their privacy.So I will not intrude unless invited to 、 The hut is in the Village of, about 15 miles east of Brighton, in the South Downs National Park. Directly on the South Downs way;ideal for a stop over for cyclist and walkers. It's close to castles, stately homes, vineyards and, The High street offers colorful shops and excellent cafes and restaurants Close to mainline station to and from London. This quiet, charming retreat a step away from the bustle of village life offers privacy and relaxation. A little gem of an oasis! Parking is available in my drive.There are bus routes to Seaford and Eastbourne.The Railway station at Berwick is main line to Lewes, Gatwick and Victoria London . If you are visiting at the weekend you are advised to book if going out for a meal.I am happy to recommend places to eat .arriving by train Berwick station is only ten minutes away (mainline from Victoria) but remember to book a taxi to get to Alfriston ,Polegate and Seaford are the nearest taxi services.

Spend your days hiking, visiting Brighton/Eastbourne, or simply relaxing on a deck chair with a glass of Prosecco. With peaceful surroundings, birdsong, clear starry skies, and a bubbling hot tub, it’s the perfect place to slow down and unwind.

Our new, beautifully crafted hut / tiny home has lovely views over the adjoining fields with stunning walks on the doorstep. A short walk across fields to the famous Six Bells pub with excellent beer, food and music and a short drive to Glyndebourne Fully equipped with shower, loo and cooking facilities. Garden furniture, BBQ and fire pit and private parking provided. Fitted with a vinyl record player so bring your records. Please note you are not in your own field but the location is private.

The location is simply outstanding you go from rural views to the historic Lewes town centre within a 5 minute drive. Glyndebourne opera and Charleston are within a 10 minute drive. Orchard Hut is a secluded and very private shepherd's hut fitted to a high standard, and situated in a gloriously peaceful meadow setting away from any road noise. The meadow is rich in wildlife and there are views to the South Downs that can be enjoyed from the hammock or the wood fired hot tub.The hut sits just outside the South Downs National Park, 3 miles from Lewes and 5 miles to Glyndebourne. There is direct access to a myriad of public footpaths with a good choice of stunning walks.

The shepherd's hut is located in a private and peaceful spot on our smallholding, on the outskirts of the South Downs National Park. The hut has great amenities and is heated. It has great access to footpaths and local shops and pubs. We are fortunate enough to have some wonderful wildlife here, including deer, birds of prey and woodpeckers. As well as our rare breed sheep and pigs. Issy is a land agent and Geoff is a tree surgeon, so we have a keen interest in nature and the environment.

Located in the picturesque village of Rodmell close to the South Downs Way and the home of Virginia Woolf. Caburn huts are two huts, one bedroom hut with a comfy double bed, seating with tea and coffee making facilities. The second is a bathroom hut with a gorgeous roll top bath. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning.
