Could be earlier depending on the weather. Also the City of Kawartha Lakes has a NO BONFIRE ban during April each year. So please do not do a BONFIRE.

The hot tub and campfire* beckon in all seasons, and the heated inground pool is open from mid-June to Labour Day each year. We are dog friendly, but cannot accept other pets due to allergies. Nature enthusiasts welcome. We offer a large campsite complete with dock on a private nature reserve. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All this is set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.

Stay off-grid in an Amish built bunkie on top of a hill with the best south facing view in the area! Disconnect from your busy life and enjoy the country side. There is no wifi but cellular reception is good depending on your provider. There is an outhouse with compost toilet near the bunkie. There is no shower or sink. Enjoy the country and let nature do that talking! Pets are very welcome! Enjoy the trails and walk your dog(s) off leash.

On an inlet that goes directly out on to sturgeon Lake, this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage, is situated just minutes from the Victoria Rail Trail, perfect for snowmobiling, ATVing, hiking and biking. For snowmobiling, you can jump on the 310 or E108 OFSC Trail.
