Come retreat on our peaceful 2.5 acres… quiet and serene but just minutes from lots of local food and businesses. Just off I-55, 5 mins from SLU and less than 10 to downtown Hammond. You can get the best of both worlds in our modern fully renovated 28 ft RV, which is tucked away on the side of the property and perfect for 2-4 people. Amenities include:Queen bed, jackknife sofa in living room, outdoor patio & fire pit, smart tv, internet, AC, hot water and stove top/microwave for cooking.

We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

It is located close to the town of Livingston where you will find groceries, hardware, restaurants, fuel, etc. Outdoor gazebo and fire pit in common area. It is centrally located between Hammond and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. An easy drive to everywhere you want to be! Plus, it’s fully loaded with everything you will need.
