This uniquely designed cabin (co-created with architect Akiko Kobayashi) is a rural dream pad. Perfect for a quiet getaway, a romantic hideout or a base to explore the beauty of Fife. With a separate dedicated workspace it’s also a perfect place to write or create something special (or even to keep a hand in at work, not recommended!). Rated Top Ten by The Times. Willowmere Cottage is a log eco-cabin with all the luxuries of a 5* hotel. All the comforts of home - full kitchen, wood burning stove, flatscreen (Sky Sports & Cinema, Netflix, Disney+), WiFi, private hot tub and patio. On the shores of a secluded loch with private gardens and woodlands. Surrounded by walking and biking trails. Trout fishing, bird watching, teeming with native wildlife. Less than a mile to the train that runs between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.
