A dog friendly escape in the Carmarthenshire hills

Set between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast, with 10 acres of meadow bordered by a small river The Annexe offers the perfect getaway for dog owners and nature lovers alike. We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond.

The Garden Lodge

This Stylish newly built cosy self contained apartment is the perfect retreat to escape the pressures of every day life, a perfect base to explore all that the heart of wales has to offer. The garden Lodge would also be suitable for people working in the surrounding area. In the lodge there is one bedroom with one double bed, Shower/toilet ,kitchen area comprising of fridge,micro wave, toaster and kettle, there is no oven or hob, In the lounge area there is a smart tv with free wi fi access.

Only 6 minutes from A48/M4 junction into West Wales, this quaint stone ex-milking parlour is the perfect hideaway for a retreat- perfectly located for access to Pembrokeshire, & Gower beaches, castles, lakes & Brecon Breacon mountains! Private garden & patio. Secluded but short drive to boutique shops & cafes . A woodburner for cosy days in, and bed made up with quality linen, means it's hard to leave when your Retreat ends! Located off A40 and B4310 giving you quick access in all directions. Beach 20 mins, Castles 5 mins, Royal Botanic Gardens 5 mins, Carmarthen town 10 mins Would suit a couple wanting a romantic break, there is also a camping bed for 1 or 2 young kids.

The Cowshed

Located at the foot of the Brecon Beacons, this well positioned property offers a large, spacious, modern kitchen and breakfast bar with original wooden beams and high ceilings. The kitchen carries through to an open planned dining/living room area equipped with a large flat screen TV and cosy log burner perfect for socialising and chilling out with loved ones. This two bedroom, two bathroom property is beautifully refurbished, and caters perfectly for small families or a couples getaway.

Unique Character Barn B&B near Carmarthen

An award winning barn conversion, full of character and original features. Y Beudy at Dan y Graig has been lovingly transformed into a striking modern dwelling. Guests will have the whole space to themselves, featuring a large lounge area with mezzanine, bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The Barn/Beudy bach

Beudy bach nestles in farmland with views of the countryside. It is a cosy, peaceful getaway near castles, walks, small towns and beaches.The National Botanic Garden of Wales is close. The fields, garden and woods attract many birds. This place appeals to those who like the rustic and quirky. We live on site too. Pubs, a post office, garage and the A48 are minutes away. There are not many footpaths, but a maze of country lanes provide opportunities to walk and cycle.

The Garden House

Surrounded by rolling hills, the location offers scenic walks, with stunning views- perfect for rest and relaxation. Within 2 minutes walk there is a popular gastro pub. The nearest beach, Pembrey country park and Ffos Las racecourse are 10 minutes drive. Gower, the Brecon Beacons and Tenby are all within a 30-45 minutes drive and make popular day trips.
