The two houses provide perfect accommodations for when you want to be close, but with privacy. The park-like setting provides direct access to Buchanan Lake. The firepit is a family favorite spot for making s'mores. We provide propane BBQ plus smoke house smoker, yard games, & plenty of board games.

The Highland Lakes region of Central Texas Hill Country offers many activities that include; boating on constant level Lake LBJ, taking vineyard tours, golf courses nearby, fishing, horseback riding, hiking the trails at Inks State Park , spelunking in the Longhorn Caverns or jumping off a rock bluff at the Devils Waterhole.

The Bunkhouse room w/ private beach ON Lake LBJ

The bunkhouse is a private guest suite...separate from house, with it's own shady deck, lake view, and lots of private beach. It is a NON-SMOKING property. This means no smoking anywhere-not even the beach. Pets are allowed ( dogs) if meet guidelines listed in "other details". ( I also have a guestroom in the house that is listed on Airbnb that sleeps 2 ) I will consider allowing 1 perhaps 2 dogs, MAKE SURE you read additional info in "Other Details" below..

The cabin comfortably sleeps 4, offers a full size kitchen and bath with walk-in shower. Enjoy the peace of being surrounded by nature among wild turkeys and grazing deer. Great swimming and fishing off the bank. Enjoy large fire pit by the water . Sleeps 2-4 and is fully contained . You can sit and enjoy the porch swing or light your fire pit. The swimming pool never closes. We rent another cabin and RV so it is possibly shared .
