The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

Dandelion Cottage, Amroth, Pembrokeshire

Tucked away in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park we have a very cosy, spacious stone cottage on our working smallholding. Adjacent to National Trust woodland and within easy walking distance to Colby Woodland Gardens and Amroth with its fabulous beach, village pubs, cafes and shop the cottage is perfect for beach goers, nature lovers and walkers. The 150 year old cottage is up a quiet lane above the town of Burry Port. The cosy cottage - Clydfan

Clydfan (means 'cosy cottage' in Welsh) is one of two south-facing former quarryman's cottages looking toward the Preseli mountains. Originally two-up-two-down, the cottage was extended to the west in the 1970s for a kitchen and bathroom to be added and the two downstairs rooms are now a tiled through lounge. It's small, but set in a large garden; part wild and part lawned, so plenty of places to hide in. Footpaths lead to the slate quarries and to Glogue.
