Just off Wales' Coastal Path, this 17th-century converted barn offers the perfect rural hideaway to enjoy both the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff. With great access to Gileston Manor (1-minute walk away) and Cardiff Airport (a 5-minute taxi ride away), Cowbridge and Llantwit Major (15 minutes' drive). Ty Silstwn is a light, airy space with a modern kitchen, comfy double bedroom, large open sitting room with wood burner and double sofa bed and stunning views over fields to the Severn and Dartmoor.

The studio has a shower room and well-equipped kitchenette. With a double bed & sofa bed, the studio can sleep four people, plus a travel cot & high chair. Wifi, Netflix & Amazon TV are provided. Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!
