Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Lagganbuie Country House, Kilmore, by Oban

The property is located in an idyllic setting 5 miles south of the vibrant town of Oban. It is situated in stunning gardens with breathtaking views of Loch Feochan. It is spacious, bright and tastefully decorated to reflect it's countryside location. This is the perfect getaway whether you wish to relax or use it as your base to explore the outdoors and surrounding islands. The property has recently undergone some internal renovations including a new kitchen completed in April 2017.

‘Tigh na ba’, Loch Etive, Argyll

Tigh na ba is found in a truly exceptional location approximately 250 metres from the shore of Loch Etive and has been reconfigured and totally refurbished in 2021. From here you can relax in a peaceful and beautiful place, explore hills, woods, shores or sea, and take advantage of many visitor attractions within driving distance on the West Coast of Scotland. A warm, comfortable, well-equipped holiday home awaits you with glorious views of upper Loch Etive and the local mountains.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Enjoy taking time out in a peaceful and stunning setting free of any noise pollution, full of stunning sunrises and sunsets, beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife.

This modern lochside studio is ideally situated to explore Argyll and the Isles. A newly built self-catering unit, it is only a 10 minute drive from Kilmartain Glen and the ancient sites that hold the secrets of Scotland. With nearby ferry links, you’ll be able to venture for day trips to the Scottish islands and sample the world-renowned malt whiskies. The towns of Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead have the services and amenities required to enhance your stay.

Cabin in the Wild

We built the cabin to a high specification, it is in the middle of the forest with incredible views down to the loch, a burn running close to the front door and all the hill walking and wildlife around you that you would expect in Scotland. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living/dining room. Perfect for nature lovers, hillwalkers and anyone looking for a space to decompress and disconnect for a while.

Woodcock Lodge luxury lodge with private hot tub

Woodcock Lodge is a luxury lodge set in a private and scenic glen about ten minutes from Lochgilphead, with its shops, cafes and restaurants. The lodge has a private barbecue cabin, log burner, four poster bed, private hot tub and copper bath, with the finest of internal decorations and lovely views.
