The Old Henhouse is nestled on our family farm in South County Galway. The exterior is charred timber cladding which blends discreetly to the surroundings. You have on site parking, private outdoor sitting area, a compact kitchen with gas hob, fridge. Wood burning stove to provide warmth in the cooler winter evenings. Espresso Coffee machine. Tea, coffee, essential condiments supplied. Extremely comfortable double bed, bathroom, shower/toilet. Constant hot water. Just take a deep breath & relax!

A perfect location to relax & explore Cong, Connemara & the West of Ireland. The barn loft is situated 1.5 miles from Ashford Castle/Cong Village. The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. 120 years old restored cottage situated in a scenic and secluded area. It is surrounded by lakes and mountains and an ideal base for a fishing and touring holiday in Galway, Connemara and Mayo. a wonderful location, for hill walking ,outdoor pursuit's, angling, water sports ,nature. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.
