Pelican Place on Caddo Lake (Boat Ramp & Kayaks)

Quiet retreat by Caddo lake with private boat ramp. Launch your own boat, or use kayaks. Filming of the movie produced by M. Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. Two bedroom fishing camp in lower Montegut, located near some of the best fishing in the area. We have a private launch on Bayou Terrebonne for your free use, or if you prefer the Pointe aux Chenes or Cocodrie marinas are just 20 minutes away. Sleeps 6 with fully furnished kitchen, and ample parking space for boats and cars. Fish cleaning station and crab boiling and fish frying equipment provided. Pets allowed for $40 fee. Free wifi. Our retreat is an hour and 30 minutes from New Orleans.

The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

Lake life will rejuvenate your soul. Our home is furnished with guests in mind to feel like home. Enjoy cooking in our fully stocked kitchen. Grab a blanket, pick a DVD or book from our small collection, or have fun with the family playing games we've provided. Either way, this trip is all about relaxation.

Sunhillow Farm Getaway

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light. Spend the day in town shopping or enjoying a festival. Return home to relax with a meal on the grill or a glass of wine with friends around the firepit.

Once at the cabin, you will be welcomed with a fire pit area, a cozy hammock under the shade trees, picnic table perfect to dine outside and the coziest porch to sip coffee in the morning while observing the wildlife.

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.
