Situated in the unique position of having it’s feet in Gunnerside Ghyll, totally detached and in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Debra Cottage abounds with character. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Luxury Romantic - Swaledale Shepherds Hut

We have loved creating this very special getaway for two here in beautiful Swaledale. Our shepherds hut is located in an idyllic private location with far reaching views of Swaledale. All the feelings you have as a child making dens and wanting to sleep out in them have been fulfilled ( be it a little more luxurious!). Whatever time of year, a cosy retreat awaits you with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, luxury bedding, cosy sheepskins, kingsize bed. We don’t allow pets or smoking .

Once you arrive, the stress of everyday life starts to disappear and the only distraction is nature. Amazing walks are right on the doorstep to take in the local history.

Hill End Cottage is an 1840s traditional Yorkshire stone cottage tucked away on a hill side in the beautiful Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales. A cyclist's & walker's paradise. Also home to Our Yorkshire Farm TV Series, The Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda Owen. Our 4 bedroomed 2 bathroom cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is home from home with a luxury feel. The log burner creates a cosy feel in the living room while the well equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay.

We aim to offer a truly relaxing and luxurious escape with all the facilities that you could possibly need. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees.

It is an ideal tranquil retreat for one or two people wishing to stay in a peaceful setting surrounded by wildlife and wonderful views. The hut has king size bed, table and chairs, kitchen area, log burner and outside patio table and chairs, firepit, garden. Heated Shower room with wc and basin for your exclusive use 100m along the garden path.
