Quiet, country setting that comfortably accommodates two. This space is above our garage, which is not attached to our house. We have lots of chickens, curious cats and a couple of friendly goats. We are often outside working or playing, but the apartment is very private once you are upstairs!! There is NO WiFi here. There IS a lovely, private balcony with a nice view, lots of movies, and fun games. Verizon service works great here, so if you have a Hotspot you could hook up to our smart TV.

35 private acres of forest on rolling hill terrain. Lots of wildlife nestled very close to the flat river; 30-40 minutes away from Grand Rapids. The Fred Meijer trail provides great biking or hiking opportunities. Lazy float tubing or kayaking down the flat river is very popular and only a short walk away. Horse back riding, golf courses, and an amazing local bakery all within a couple miles. And a fun sport court (basketball hoop, volleyball/badminton/pickelball net all right on site!

Our Tiny house is a place to retreat from the hussle and bustle of your busy life. It's a place to relax, read, reflect, rest and reset. You may enjoy nature, walk the trails, enjoy a fire in the fire ring and have a cookout. We hope you enjoy all that the woods has to offer. We provide wine, crackers, and cheese, chocolates , popcorn, breakfast bars, water, juice, coke and coffee pods (Keurig). The tiny house is a cozy and comfortable space where you will enjoy complete privacy.

The Riverlands Roadside Motel has 2 duplicate units, so please reach out if you're looking for an option with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!

We hope you are comfortable resting in the spacious bedrooms, lounging in the spacious living room, watching movies and playing board games, or cooking a meal in the large, fully stocked kitchen. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space! We are a half-mile from the closest grocery store, plenty of local restaurants and 20 minutes to downtown Grand Rapids. **Important to note: we are currently undergoing an exterior landscape renovation to be complete late Spring of 2026.** Welcome to our tiny home! In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home in our backyard. As you can imagine… things did not turn out the way we intended and construction was completed in the fall of 2020! The amenities are not lacking within the space and we know you will feel at home!

Welcome! This charming little house is a repurposed chicken coop on the farm. Enjoy the quiet, country life with all the comforts from home. The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

The property is situated on spacious property near walking trails/parks. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, hot plate including pots and pans, toaster and keurig. This is a very light, bright and cozy place to stay!
