Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Self contained small private studio for singles or couples. Views overlooking Island Bay valley. Five minute walk downhill to the shops, cafes and a cinema nearby. A regular bus service to city and a 10 minute drive to the airport. Comfortable double bed, sink bench, microwave, bench oven, fridge, Nespresso machine, smart TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Outside areas to sit and relax. On street parking. This space is ideal for guests who prefer well-planned compact living. Hosts live upstairs.

Location, privacy, garden

Located in a quiet, leafy suburb with shops nearby this apartment is in a sturdy house built in 1965 with a picnic lawn and view to Rangituhi. A 15 min walk to the railway station. Kapiti Line, min drive to Te Rauparaha Arena, Whitireia Polytechnic and the Police College. 20 - 30 min drive to Wellington. The space can be comfortable with one bed, or a family space with an extra one or two beds. There ‘s a lip (small wooden barrier) into the shower and a low ceiling. Great Wifi No TV.

Our peaceful, rural location is perfect for exploring and creating unforgettable memories with plenty of space to roam around. Just a short drive away, experience Wainuiomata beach for fishing, river swimming, and seal-watching. If you head 2 mins North you tramp the Remutaka Forest Park. The Baring Head Regional park is right around the corner to go biking, walking or view the lighthouse & lake. If you're a golf fan, make sure to check out the Wainuiomata Golf Club, it’s only 10 mins away.

The strawbale studio.

The self catering studio is located behind the main house on a private two hectare section. It’s an open plan strawbale construction with a double bedroom hidden behind sliding wooden shuttered doors. The studio was designed for passive solar heating, with a concrete floor and large double glazed windows in the living space. There are blinds in the bathroom and bedroom, but the living space does not contain any window furnishings as this would defeat the purpose of the passive solar concept.

Orongorongo Station,Wainuiomata Coast,Wellington Entire cottage - 3 bedrooms Situated on the Wainuiomata Coast only 50 minutes drive from Wellington City. This early 1900's cottage has view's of the Orongorongo River out to the Cook Strait with beautiful sunsets looking across at the Kaikoura Mountains. Walks to Turakiraie Head Seal Colony, Remutaka Forest Park & Baring Head Park, surfing, surf casting & diving along the coast or cycle the Wild Coast NZ Cycle trail or park up and relax.
