Hiking trails, fishing, boating and playgrounds all within a few minutes drive. This is a true disconnect and place of relaxation. Enjoy the quiet, serene atmosphere of the cabin both inside and out. 10 minutes from Amish stores and bakery and 10 miles from downtown Hillsboro. Unwind at the end of your day in the hot tub. Nestled on 4 wooded acres along Pond Creek, this one of a kind cabin will certainly be a unique experience. Walls of windows blur the lines between inside and out, connecting you with nature in every room. The house is very open, with rooms winding around the central stone fireplace with varying levels. The kitchen is stocked with supplies for preparing your own meals, but downtown Portsmouth restaurants are just 10 minutes away. Outside are patios for relaxing and woods for walking.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Experience tiny house living in our little cabin. Enjoy beautiful Rocky Fork Lake, Amish countryside, hike and explore The Arc of Appalachia. Boat rental is just down the road at Bayside Bait and tackle. Our cabin has 2 full size beds upstairs in loft area as well as a comfy queen sofa that makes a decent bed also. There is a small table and chairs. There is also a larger refrigerator on covered back porch.

Cozy, older, but remodeled, cabin. Sits overlooking the lake. Open floor plan. Full kitchen/bath. Hot tub on deck. Multiple steps down to an older dock. Fire pit. Very peaceful setting. Grounds rustic. Due to the age of the cabin prior to remodel, there may be some inconsistencies noted in the settling of the cabin over the years. You may hear a creaking in the floor when walking or see that a line is not perfect but we aim to offer a clean, comfortable stay
