Luxury barn conversion attached to our house. Situated close to the A494 for easy access to Snowdonia National Park but set in an acre of gardens surrounded by open countryside . There is a hot tub and outdoor shower with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, fire pit and pellet pizza oven. Underfloor heating throughout. Bedrooms have smart tv and 4g WiFi. A lovely old renovated cottage with inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and mezzanine. It is well equipped for your stay as I have tried to make it a home from home for you with many books and houseplants. There will always be some welcome goodies and you can sleep in snuggly beds made up with 100% cotton or organic cotton sheets and feather and down duvets. The cottage is situated in the pretty wooded Dulas valley near the historic town of Machynlleth, close to Snowdonia and the sea.

Chester House is an ideal base for groups of hikers, mountain bikers or families wanting to explore Snowdonia. Dolgellau is a pretty little town, sitting in lovely walking country beneath the Cader Idris mountain range. The sea, and some delightful beaches are just down the road, too! There are lots of restaurants/cafes, pubs and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk.

Above and around Taliesin are many beautiful woodland walks, it's close to the coastal path and short driving distance (or bike ride) to the popular holiday village of Borth and unspoilt beach of Ynyslas.

The property is a 1860s grade 2 listed build full of character and charm, enjoying stunning views looking up the valley. We have sympathetically restored the property with its sash window and flag stone flooring, however it still includes all the mod cons to ensure a delightfully chilled holiday.
