Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Couples retreat, cozy, convenient, pet friendly

Couples and their pets love the cottage! Privately situated on 2 acres, conveniently located 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, 5 minutes to Weaverville. Cozy, charming, unique, the cottage provides a fully equipped kitchen, mosaic tile bath with walk-in shower, and clever use of recycled materials. Fenced pet approved yard ($50 one time fee covers 2 pet max), with outdoor dining, BBQ grill and fire pit. A relaxing oasis after hiking and exploring the beauty and charm of Western NC.

Custom built with plant and farm lovers in mind, with greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can visit our farm during your stay to meet our livestock too. Located on 60 acres of wooded land only minutes from the Appalachian Trail. It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access and Hot Tub too.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

Come have a micro adventure in our tiny home! 200 sq ft, off-grid, creekside mountain retreat on 28 acres in the Smoky Mountains. No electricity or plumbing: 'glamping' at its finest! A quiet retreat 30 minutes from Asheville, NC. At 3500 ft. in elevation, it's mild during summer days and cool at night. The dark sky’s of YanceyCounty make for amazing star viewing. Charming, comfy, historic cabin with modern amenities in a very private & quiet country setting just 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, 25 minutes to West Asheville and a short 10 minute drive to Weaverville. * This cabin has been on Airbnb since 2012. We bought it from our friend, Caroline, in the fall of 2021. However, we've managed it since 2015. Airbnb doesn't allow transfers of listings so we have to start fresh.
