The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!

Mountain View Shire Getaway

Relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck of this unique glamping site. This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.

Be aware that the Roost is located on the top floor (up 2 flights of stairs). Our favorite restaurants, hiking, biking, kayaking and beach access spots are all within a 30 minute drive. River House is a 2672sf home on a high bank above the Elwha River across from the Olympic National Park. A deck with a barbeque and a hot tub has views of the River and mountains.
