If you are looking for a fully furnished, functional and affordable place to stay while visiting little town Makhanda for a few days, this lovely haven tucked away in a cool and safe area of town called Sunnyside is your perfect fit. It’s a two-bedroom house. If you book to stay here, you’ll be staying in the bedroom downstairs with an en suite bathroom. I am the owner of this property – an academic working at Rhodes Uni, which is 10 minutes' walk away. I’ve been living here for 3 years

There is an uninterrupted(solar power) power supply.

Uniondale Lodge, Fort Governor's Estate

Uniondale Lodge is situated in the 10,000HA Fort Governor's Estate game reserve just outside Grahamstown. The Lodge has been recently re-vamped and provides all the home-away-from-home comforts that you need. Green Shed for groups of 34-40 people. Convenient overnight between Cape Town and KZN.
