Llandaff House Van Reenen is 4 bedroom California style house built in 1950's. Perched on the edge of the escarpment with a fabulous view. Laze for days in front of the massive fireplace, or venture out and explore. Start your holiday here on route to the coast or meet friends mid-way from JHB & Durban for a getaway or celebration, or a wedding at the little church just up the road. We also have 3 cottages, Woodlands and The Barn and The Old Barn. Please note - Winter 2026 - Pool will be empty.

The cottage sleeps up to four people with one large open planned studio-style bedroom on the ground floor and an open loft upstairs with two single beds, just perfect for a family of 4. The studio design allows flow from the well-equipped kitchen to the lounge area and bedroom.

The home has 2 bathrooms. It has a full kitchen with all amenities and a cozy dining area, comfy lounge and indoor fireplace. Mesnard home is dog friendly and has a spacious garden. The nearest walkway to the mountain is only a few meters away with breathtaking views and a cool forest breeze.

It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

Only 6 minutes drive from The Clarens Square and 26 restaurants, yet you can unwind completely in the peacefulness of the wind and sunshine. Lovely walks. Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

The lovely Drakensberg mountains can be seen clearly from the wide veranda. The complex is very secure and has little trails to the dam. In this beautiful, clean complex is a grand lodge that has a small bar and restaurant that you are welcome to visit. Nearby, there is a tennis court, putt-putt and golf course, and many quaint places to visit.
