River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Pool is open for the season, it’s a private pool dedicated to our Airbnb guests only. This country guest house is very clean with a simple design. It's conveniently located seven miles away from Short Pump where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and entertainment. You will experience a quite relaxing retreat without leaving the city. We provide 4G wireless hotspot internet and a comfortable computer working space for business travelers. Grocery stores, business center, and banks are nearby.

Come and enjoy the peaceful life that Goochland has to offer from it's trails at Hidden Rock and Leakes Mill parks or bring your canoe to the beautiful James River boat landing at Maidens. Welcome to "The Home Stretch", a beautiful quiet place in the country just a few miles from Short Pump (which has great restaurants, Golf Courses, Drive Shack, wineries, Breweries. Our second floor apartment features a private entrance with all the things you may need while you are away from home. It has a spacious living area, eat in kitchen, queen bed and 2 trundle-like twin beds. We are on the premises but not in your space at all. Available day and night should you need anything.

Chateau Midlothian Retreat Suite

The perfect guest suite waiting to great you to relax in this cozy retreat. Full renovation completed in 2023, including all new furnishings. As an Airbnb traveler, I focused on a clean, comfortable space that guests enjoy and recommend to others. The Chateau Midlothian Suite Retreat is limited to two adult guests with reservations. No other outside guests are permitted. All guests must have their identity verified through Airbnb with at least two reviews to make reservations.
