This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

A beautiful modern S/C apartment located on the edge of Oxford Island Nature Reserve set on the shores of Lough Neagh only 20 minutes south of Belfast, 30 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from the Mourne mountains . The house is set on the grounds of a thatch cottage where we live with dogs, cats and hens which roam about freely waiting to welcome newcomers and overlooks stunning countryside. This beautiful property is located in the heart of Knockbirdge Village, Co Louth, a quiet village that offers a range of local amenities including shop, takeaway and traditional pub. While still convenient to Dundalk, Blackrock, Carlingford and Carrickmacross. Only an hour drive will take you to both Dublin and Belfast City (M1 Motorway Junction 16) We have lovingly restored and renovated this cottage over the years to provide a cosy and welcoming home.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
