The Lundgren Tree Farm

Located on 40 beautiful wooded acres in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Lundgren Tree Farm was founded by my grandfather Vic Lundgren in the early 1960s. Originally it was an 1880s homestead farm with a two bedroom log cabin and several out buildings. Over the years, my grandfather planted tens of thousands of trees on the property, painted hundreds of water colors and oil paintings documenting the natural flora and fauna, and converted a barn and other structures into additional bedrooms, an art studio, library and meditation room, and the Silver Dollar Pool Hall. As a lawyer, judge, artist and nature lover, Vic stocked the property with art, books, records and sculpture making the Lundgren Farm incredibly beautiful, inspiring and authentic. Just blocks from Lake Michigan, the Farm is a refuge for animals and artists alike, with trails, a fire pit, and rich solitude from city living. The log cabin farmhouse hosts two bedrooms, the kitchen, dining area, living room and full bath. It is filled with art, books, antiques, and a functional record player, organ and cast iron fireplace. The barn is not your ordinary structure, as it holds five seperate rooms - two bedrooms, an art studio, Vic's office and the meditation room. The open common area is rustic and contains a small workshop. The "Chicken Coupe" is a one bedroom outbuilding located behind the farmhouse, with a full bath (and one of the more modern sleeping quarters). All of the bedrooms have nice linens, wool blankets, mosquito netting (sometimes necessary) and antique furnishings. The screened gazebo next to the pond, is a wonderful place to read, eat or just sit back and listen to the frogs, birds and other wildlife that frequent the property.

Pack n Play with Bassinet feature, outlet plugs, drawer locks etc. Fully equip Kit. Towels, bed linens, Toiletries, Marshmallow sticks, pudgy pie, games, 60+ movies, campfire chairs, bug spray, sunscreen. We enjoy the cabin as a retreat from our normal busy life & technolog, to disconnect & reconnect with loved ones. State forest trail off back yard. There is air conditioning!

Firepit and gas grill. the cabin is located 5 miles out of town, so still close enough for shopping or checking out the restaurants. Pets welcomed, if well mannered.

Come and Relax at this peaceful 4 bedroom lake house on Long Lake. Located on 2 acres with a very large lake frontage, you can enjoy being on the water while still relaxing in a very quiet setting. Take the kayaks or canoes (included in your stay) to go explore this beautiful lake or simply sit on the swing or near the fire for some relaxing times. Very conveniently located 5 min from downtown Wausaukee where you can find restaurants, bars or shopping amenities.

Winding River Cottages-Pine Cone Cottage

The Pinecone Cottage is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. There is one other cottage and one house also on the property. This cottage is directly on the Menominee River, very close to Marinette, WI/ Menominee, MI. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, a full kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances (stove/oven, refrigerator, over-the-stove microwave), and a living area with a 50" TV, chair, and a leather sofa with a chaise.

Peaceful, gorgeous water behind raccoon lodge is filled with varieties of fish on the Peshtigo river. Home is newly updated with modern amenities, comfortable beds and a cute loft for kiddos. Gas fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Huge outdoor grill and sitting area in front of the lodge to congregate and catch up with family and friends.
