Outdoor activity includes hammocks, swimming, boating (canoe, kayaks, john boat). For fishing we have boats, nets & fish-dressing station (bring poles & bait). About 13 miles from Palmyra and Monroe, nearest gas and groceries.

Welcome to the Sweet Retreat! Built in 1910, this magnificent dog friendly historic home has lots to offer! Our home features 4 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with room to comfortably sleep 8-12 people; couches and air mattress increase sleeping capacity. Two living areas, sun room, office nook, and an upstairs balcony provide you and your guests plenty of space to spread out, relax, watch TV, or play a variety of games. Our property offers catch and release fishing also. Shelbina also offers weekend movies at Hawkins Theatre and live productions on occasion. There is a public zero entry pool, in season, at the Aquatic Park.
