Our location is also ideal for snowmobile and ORV riders, bikers as the trail is across the road from our driveway! Two trailer parking spots are available. Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Historically, this home was the residence of Coast Guard Captains of years past until the property was given to the City.

Sit around the campfire and watch the sun set over the lake. There is a small pond for ice skating in winter (when conditions are right).
