Self Catering Accommodation in a rural retreat, close to the Kaimai Range, only a short drive from the renowned Mineral Spas of Te Aroha and the rural towns of Matamata (world famous as Hobbiton), as well as Morrinsville. The peaceful retreat with two cottages set in a woodland oasis. Specifically designed for couples wanting that romantic getaway. Additional features include an outside bath in amongst trees with hot water from a wood fired water heater and a Swedish/Danish styled steam sauna.

Clean comfortable and modern accommodation for up to 4 adults + 2 children. Located 5 mins to Katikati in an orchard setting. The spa is for guests to enjoy situated outside master bedrooms French country doors. A generous outdoor area with comfortable seating. Veiws of countryside and glimpses of the harbour. Both bedrooms accommodate 1xQueen bed each with all linen and towels supplied. Futon couches for extra children or single matress. Master has generous wardrobe space. Birdsong galore!!

Kingfisher cottage -outdoor bath, fire, sauna

King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

This couples Retreat is ideal for that relaxing , rejuvenating break. This calm stylish space will let you do that. Hot water via gas califont , flushing toilet , solar power , fridge , unlimited WiFi. Note : cabins location requires travelling down a farm track. If track is wet , we offer transportation down to the location.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Relax on the deck and look down the valley right thru to the Kaimai Ranges. The studio has a King bed with ensuite and kitchenette, with indoor & outdoor setting. Also outdoor entertaining with BBQ Amazing views of the Kaimai Ranges in all directions, and from the deck you can see right down the valley. This oasis is rural Matamata and only 7km to Matamata Township. Adult only property NO children/infants.
