This newly renovated cottage is in a downtown setting yet out of the bustle of busy city streets. It has a great view of the inlet and port, ands sits above the railyard. The bedroom has a KING size cool foam mattress and full bathroom with shower. On chilly nights enjoy an electric fireplace while cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The large backyard has a deck with table and chairs, as well as a firepit. There is a desk to work at and high-speed wifi internet, plus a free parking space.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Talkeetna Burl Cabin is pet friendly cabin located 5 miles from Talkeetna on a quiet country street. Many prior guests have written that their stay was one of the best they had in Alaska! Breakfast goodies and coffee are provided so you can relax during your stay. Please note that this is a dry cabin, water is provided and it also has an inside composting toilet. Wifi code MTA Talkeetnaburlcabin. During summer months I have a community greenhouse with neighbors coming and going!

Our house will be a great addition to your vacation. We offer a hot tub and sauna. There is plenty of room to store your snowboarding gear, or just kick back and relax. There are two full bathrooms, a living room, and a workout room downstairs. We are 2.5 miles from the Dimond Shopping Center, 6.4 miles from Downtown, 4.9 miles from Hilltop Ski Hill, and and 38.8 miles from Alyeska Ski Resort. There are multiple activities and restaurants within 2 miles of the house.

All the comforts of home while visiting the city. Lots of extras in the kitchen and some breakfast items provided including bagels, waffles, eggs, and sometimes fruit. Backyard is fully fenced. Some games, toys, writing stuff & books. There are two bedrooms with three beds. The walk-in closet has 2 extra twin mattress you can set up on the floor. Total: 1 queen bed and 4 twin bed/mattress on floor (5). Home is located on a busy road.
