Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Private forest, disc golf, outdoor bath tub,

Ravens Ridge is an extremely unique piece of property, set in a sunny clearing within our own forest we have a quiet and relaxing environment. Surrounded by wildlife this is a peaceful haven to artists, photographers, authors. However we also have great kayaking within 5 minutes walk, quiet roads for cycling, we have our own 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing, swimming beaches, bays for wake boarding and other watersports. Ravens Ridge and Mayne Island has something for everyone!

Beachfront log cabin, Miners Bay, Mayne Island

MayneWave is an historical beachfront log cabin (1900), on Mayne Island named for its proximity to water. Waves on the beach and a seasonal stream in winter. The beach area was a site of First Nations settlement for millennia and was a rest point for miners traveling by canoe to the gold fields Optimal for 2 guests (can sleep 3) views of Miner's Bay 50 m to beach fully renovated in 2021 full kitchen including dishwasher fast Starlink WiFi Apple TV washer/dryer private deck with views of Bay

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Deacon Hill Ocean View HotTub Suite on 10 Acres

South-facing, 300 square foot, self-contained room with a private hot tub and ocean view. Situated on 10 lovely acres near Dinner Bay park, this studio on the ground floor of the main house has a private entry through french doors off of the covered deck. Perfect for a couple (not suitable for children) or a solo Gulf Island getaway. There is no kitchen, but the room includes a small fridge with freezer, BBQ, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea. Restaurants and shops are a 10 min drive away.

Felix Jack Guesthouse

Our Guesthouse is a fully self contained studio that is situated on 5 beautifully treed acres with ocean/forest views. It is perfect for a Romantic getaway that offers peace, tranquility and privacy. Brand new Queen size bed and new queen size sofa bed. Ten minute walk to the village (shopping & restaurants) and beach. We are extremely close to amazing trails and tennis courts. If you are walking on the ferry, please RESERVE your spot!!!!!! Guesthouse is best for two adults and a child.

Raven’s Nest

An amazing place to stay. The space provided includes access to a full kitchen, full bathroom, one bedroom, and two living areas. If access to any other amenities please do not be afraid to ask. Great access to walking trails, hiking, kayaking, swimming and beach combing. A 5 min drive or a 20 min walk will bring you to the arts and crafts studios, local grocery shops, gas station, realestate offices, insurance, bakery, pizza truck, restaurants, liquor store and the local pub.

Seal Beach Cottage - Spacious waterfront 22 acres!

Situated in 22 acres of untouched forest our charming cottage is just steps from a secluded sand and pebble beach with its incredible waterfront view, fabulous sunsets, trails, and active, diverse wildlife. A stunning 60-90 min ferry trip from the Mainland. No car required! Seal Beach is 3 km from the ferry. Only 1 km from restaurants, a coffee shop, bakery, and 2 great grocery stores. A happy place for children and dog friendly! A wonderful get-away any time of year!

The Sanctuary Retreat: Treetop Living

Welcome to our Sanctuary in the trees! Perched high atop Ganges Harbour, nestled among the trees, you will find your special sanctuary. After a quiet & peaceful nights sleep, awake refreshed in the serenity of the forest surrounded by natural light and forest scents. Situated on 4 acres, our home is totally private, yet only a 3-minute drive to Ganges. Peaceful and tranquil, come here to relax after a full day of exploring.

The Salty Goose - Private Cottage beside the Ocean

The Salty Goose is the perfect place to unwind with your loved one. Enjoy the ocean breeze from the balcony of our private cottage getaway. The beach and government dock are also located right across the street. Relax as you enjoy all nature has to offer; seal, deer, eagle and raven are all common sightings here. Our cottage is within walking distance to the Driftwood Center, Cidery, Marina, and Winery!

Dinner Bay Private Cottage

The cottage is situated on 14 acres surrounded by forests but with views of the ocean. It has a huge deck where hammocks (which are provided) can be hung and a full size hot tub is nestled in the rocks. It is very private but still easily accessible to the ocean. We recently installed a new hot tub with lots of different jets, lights and seating. It is quite amazing!

Perfect Meadow Cabin

This cozy cabin is located near the ferry so you could easily bike or walk. There's parking available but approx 100 foot walk to cabin. Queen size bed and all the cooking essentials in a very comfortable kitchen set up. Currently no wi-fi. ( but it's coming and we are- after 6 years - putting a TV in the cabin)
