Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Large, completely renovated cabin in the Homochitto National Forest. On site amenities include huge 2,000 sq ft deck, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, separate fire pit, pool, hot tub, playground, and ~120 acres with miles of trails. Nearby things to do include horseback riding, hiking in the Homochitto National Forest, and boating in the Homochitto reservoir. We also have hookups for up to two RVs for an additional charge.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. We enjoyed designing this guest house and hope you find it a rejuvenating space.
