The Abbott House sits on 7 acres in a quiet neighborhood with 2 porches and outdoor picnic area. Property is near the Big South Fork National Park, Rock Creek, Cumberland Falls State Park, General Burnside Island, Lake Cumberland, Stearns Golf Course, the Stearns History Museum and the Big South Fork Scenic Railway. House is located 2 miles from historic downtown Stearns attractions, including Scenic Railway depot, museum and golf course and 5 miles from Yamacraw and Big South Fork Trailheads.

Surrounded by trees and overlooking a beautiful pasture, visitors can relax and enjoy the Big South Fork and Daniel Boone National Forest hiking and horseback riding trails, kayaking, and Cumberland Falls scenic attractions. Also enjoy and view the Big South Fork scenic railway train. Security cameras are turned off when guest are occupying cabin.
