Within walking distance, you can visit the 1819 Mercantile country store that dates back to 1860’s where you can get a southern breakfast and also has a Scooped Ice Cream Shop. Ceaser’s Southern Indiana Casino, Chariot Run Golf Course, South Harrison Community Park and Pool and Louisville, Ky are all within a short drive. Attractions include hiking, parks, caves and a pay lake.

The Heron's Nest

The “Heron’s nest” is Four stories tall, with FOUR Bedrooms, THREE Full Bathrooms. Eight person dining room table, Full Bath , Living room with WI-FI, flat TV & DVD player, plus a large bedroom with a King sized Bed. Going upstairs, the Loft bedroom has a King sized Bed and Full Bath. Down stairs to the lowest level walk out basement, there is a third bedroom with a Queen Bed a Fourth Bedroom with a Queen bed, TV. Hot Tub $45. Pet $45 per pet per night. Visitors (not overnight) are $10 each.

Rivers Edge Cabin

Rivers Edge sleeps 14 comfortably with 2.5 baths and is wheelchair accessible on the main floor. Open floor plan is great for spending time together. There are kitchen appliances, washer and dryer and a gas grill. There is a 6-8 person hot tub located on lower deck, rocking chairs, picnic table on the porch. There is a fire pit outside and a dock is on the water for fishing or boating. However if the water is high the dock may not be accessible. This cabin is located in a private rural setting.
