Garden Cottage @ Catlands Foot Farm near Ireby

Garden Cottage is a lovely converted barn attached to Catlands Foot Farm tucked away on the hillside with views across to the Galloway Hills, Scotland. Just outside the Lake District National Park but within a 30 minute drive of Keswick you get the best of both worlds of exploring the attractions of the Northen Lake District and the Solway Coast with its quaint seaside towns. With plenty of short walks available from the cottage there is a no better place to relax and unwind. Pet friendly.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

Rose Cottage is part of an old fulling mill (c. 1669) situated on the River Caldbeck in this peaceful, well served village. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.
