Lakefront Strawberry Haus has three bedrooms (plus a futon) 10-12: 12 guests is tight with two, usually children, on cots) to provide the ultimate family getaway. The covered deck and hot tub allows direct protected access to the lakeside dock equipped with kayaks and paddle boat. Take a step back in time and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Red Pine Cabin is secluded and set back 3 acres along the drive. Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. The small town of Barryton is located a mile to the South

Bring your tubes, kayaks, or canoe & enjoy floating down river from Hersey to the home or head to Big Rapids & drive back. We are located 12 miles north of Ferris State University & about 3 miles to Rails to Trails for biking, snow mobiling, hiking & biking. drop off/pick up service available upon request (must be scheduled in advance)
