Possumwood Cottage

Possumwood is cosy, romantic little cabin set in a peaceful location behind your hosts main residence. An extensive garden is also available to you. The cottage is self-contained, with a small kitchenette (no cooking, microwave only), twin king single beds, bathroom, dining setting, television (foxtel now), wifi and reverse cycle air conditioning. It is the perfect getaway cottage in the beautiful blue mountains for couple or just good mates. Enquire first if you have mobility issues.

Maple View on private acreage with lush gardens

Maple View is situated in the small historic town of Medlow Bath, just 10 minutes north of Katoomba and only 90 minutes drive or 120 minutes by train from Sydney. Accessible by car and the nearby Medlow Bath train station (a 15 minute stroll), the home is within walking distance of the famous Hydro Majestic Hotel and Potbelly Cafe. It's less than 15 minutes drive to Leura and Blackheath. Despite its proximity to these historic townships and landmarks it remains a secluded sanctuary.

This accommodation is ideal for those who prefer the rustic charm of a historic property over modern comforts. Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. Recycled furniture, large bed, sofa, original fireplace and bathroom with shower cabin. Tiny veranda and a kitchenette, shared patio. NO KITCHEN. To use the fireplace, please BYO timber. We provide a cont. breakfast - fresh sourdough bread & jams, muesli and Nespresso coffee machine.
