Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

This home can be enjoyed by families, couples and friends who will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located property. From ATV/UTV, Snowmobiling, Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, Golfing (both traditional and disc golf!!) or just relaxing in this quiet Northwoods town home. You will be able to find what you are looking for! This Home is located in town but you can literally drive your ATV/UTV or snowmobile out the driveway and access the many trails. Visiting workers are welcome

It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. It's a total of 700 sq ft, with a queen bed in the loft, in-floor heat, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Less than 2 mi from Highway 63, 8 mi from Cable, and 10 mi from Hayward. IG: @Seeleyoaks

Smart TV, wi-fi. Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly as the main heat source. All wood is provided for woodstove and firepit. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains.
