It's an easy one-mile walk to a pub. Dog friendly. The house next door, a Little House on the Hill (Herniecleugh), is also available.

We are in a fairly rural location, the nearest shops, bars and restaurants being approximately four miles away in the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.
