The Old Game Keepers cottage at Forest Lodge is a hidden gem in beautiful woodland near Glastonbury in rural Somerset. With abundant wildlife, fabulous countryside walks and views from the doorstep, it’s truly a special place to relax around nature. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained with private woods, trampoline, swing, football net and Wii. Everything you would need is provided along with fresh eggs from our free roaming hens when laying, coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

It has a stunning entrance hall, huge open plan kitchen and a utility room. Two bedrooms have their own ensuite. There is fantastic walking around, lovely pubs and great places nearby to visit including Salisbury, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari park, many historical sites and beaches within the hour. With a gated community (24hrs security), parking, family activities (soft play, tennis courts, games rooms and local spa). Peace is assured.

The local amenities are only a stone's throw away, which include coffee shops, conveniences stores, eateries and gift shops. There are regular buses to Bournemouth town centre. We welcome people of all backgrounds and our property is particularly suitable for families or couples wanting a quiet get-away by the sea.

It is spacious and generously equipped with Wi-Fi, central heating and a private courtyard with parking for one car. The cottage has four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with twin beds. My place is good for family holidays with kids, group get-togethers, business travellers, romantic couple holidays and is dog friendly.
