A warm, pine honeymoon cabin surrounded by pastoral Ozark countryside. The Meramec River flows through this seventh generation family farm. Cozy interior includes a kitchenette, dining area, and double bed on main level. All your cooking intensils are provided with coffee, tea, and paper products. DVDs and books available await you up the spiral staircase in the loft. Full bed on main level and two singles bed upstairs. Expansive view from your front porch of the highest bluffs on the Meramec.

We want you to feel relaxed and at home as you enjoy the equine activities as well as the cozy log cabin and all its features and amenities! Enjoy views of the lush property and relax as you watch the horses graze and roam. We offer customized horsemanship opportunities that accommodate each person's level of comfort and ability. Cost: $75 for two hours, maximum of two lessons/day

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

Crafting an Experience - Welcome to Emerald Gabel Cabin. Tucked away between the Rolla & Salem, MO area, the 12 acre woodland is a Ozark retreat awaiting the magical feel of a log cabin. Explore the region including Montauk State Park, Fugitive Beach & hidden small town gems for a day of exploring. Have a family outdoor movie night on the projector screen or sip your locally brewed coffee watching wildlife on the porch. At night, sit around the fire pit and listen to the sounds of the Ozark.

And at the end of the day, there’s even a soothing hot tub that will melt all of your remaining stresses away.

Our authentic log cabin was built in the early 1930's and has been newly restored. Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed, antique dresser, and a fireplace. The bunkroom has one full bed, one twin bed, and a set of bunk beds. The back porch dining hall seats 12 people and has plenty of room for games and activities (we have several to choose from). There is a TV, cable, and VCR/DVD player (we have some movies too), but no internet...PERFECT! The kitchen is stocked too!

The lodge is 3700sq ft. with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The Master bedroom has a queen-size bed and a large bathroom with a double shower and a clawfoot tub. Off the master bath, there is a Hot Tub. The game room has a pool table & poker table. Have a glass of wine or a nice cold beer and sit on the back deck around the firepit. The lodge will comfortably sleep about 14 people. Get up in the morning and grab a hot cup of coffee and watch the beautiful sunrise.

This primitive cabin is a great way to connect with nature, while still being able to retreat indoors at night. Unique space - the loft has a skylight; primitive - has electricity but no running water. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edg Clif Wineries which is next door to us. The newly remodeled shower house has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance.
