Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on Herrington Lake. Private dock with boat slip. Bring your own boat or rent one from Herrington Lake marina. Close to all the marina's. Right in the heart of Bourbon tour country. NOTE: Please be aware, due to lack of rain, the lake level is down. Currently the walkway on to the dock is next to the last step on the stairs. If the lake level continues to drop it will become necessary to walk on the rock bank to get on to the walkway

Enjoy the great outdoors from the gazebo or decks that overlook water, a stone stairway descending into the water, or the dock with ladder. If it is too cold to swim, soak in the hot tub, sit by a fire, play games, or watch movies on the big screen. Inside, relax in the sunroom and enjoy all the amenities. 20 minutes from Danville and Harrodsburg. Not far from Bourbon Trace and Keeneland.

My place is close to Shaker Village, Old Fort Harrod State Park, Historic Beaumont Inn, Bright Leaf Golf Course, Pioneer Playhouse, Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, Danville KY, Centre College. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the horses, the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Also close to Four Roses Distillery, Wild Turkey Distillery, Wilderness Trail & Buffalo Trace & Makers Mark

Pappy’s Roost (Old Town Vibe!)

Pappy’s Roost is vintage and is up the street from a railroad track that has locomotives coming through very slowly because of the tight confines of Harrodsburg. The track is not extremely close, but you can definitely see the train when standing on the sidewalk in front of The Roost. The Roost still can offer sound sleep at night because the proximity is not near enough to the tracks to be startling or disturbing to sleep. Pappy’s has been restored and has every amenity!
