The Saddlery Cottage

Beautiful converted cottage in the grounds of an historic Victorian country house in rural Wales. Wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, stunning views of the Black Mountains. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, garden-lovers, or horse-riders of all ages. Just 450 yards on a private drive through the estate from a barn which sleeps 8 (see 'Eco-Barn in the Brecon Beacons'). Ideal also for larger gatherings. Dogs welcome; a maximum of two permitted. The cottage is located on a 19th century country house estate of about 10 acres of gardens, lawns and woods. There are three bedrooms - a double ensuite on the ground floor, and two upstairs bedrooms (two doubles, one can be made up as twin beds) that share a large bathroom. A double-height kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with a banquette, a woodburning stove, two large comfy sofas and fabulous views. One side of the cottage looks onto a cobbled stable yard, and the other onto its own garden, then beyond that parkland, Llangorse Lake and the Black Mountains. Fabulous restaurants and farm shops are within a short drive as well as the lake, with boating facilities, beautiful walks out of your front door, and great biking trails. An all-around perfect location for a peaceful holiday in rural Wales. The cottage has its own entrance and parking, also its own garden with a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds of Treberfydd House, and are free to bring up to two pets. My husband and I and our family live a couple of minutes' walk from the Saddlery, and are available to help with any questions guests may have. Completely rural idyll - Perfect for those who want to escape the city and drink in the joys of the countryside. You would need a car to get around. Wellies are recommended, and good walking gear advisable for the hills. Booking is normally for a minimum of three nights. Between November and and March we offer a special rate for a Friday + Saturday booking with a late checkout of 4.30pm on Sunday. Please contact us for details. Zip world, Bike Park Wales, Pen y fan, National show caves are close. Theres three pubs with restaurants in the village centre a 10 min walk.

Bridge House Sleeps 2 (self contained)

Bridge house. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons this refurbished traditional cottage is full of original features including oak beams and stone a fireplace. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. Fan Cottage - sleeps 6 in luxury in Brecon Beacons

Fan Cottage is a detached cottage in the west of the Brecon Beacons with magnificent views overlooking Cray Reservoir and was totally refurbished to a high standard in 2017. It is ideal for a family or group of friends. Hill and reservoir walks are accessible straight out of the garden. We welcome well behaved dogs - additional charge of £20/dog. We take 7 nights or 3 night weekend bookings from Friday - weekend price is £500 to £650: stay of 7 nights have a minimum of 30% discount.
