Close to Hay on Wye, the Offas Dyke path and a half hour drive from Abergavenny and the city of Hereford. We aim to provide the feel of a luxury retreat and all that you need to unwind in absolute comfort. This simple and charming detached Bothy sits on the Wales/Herefordshire borders on the edge of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park, it is perfect for couples or individuals, but sorry no dogs. The area is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, bird/nature watching or simply relaxing. The village of Longtown is nearby (2 miles) with its very own 12th century castle, a traditional local pub/restaurant and an excellent shop selling local produce .

The cute wooden house has ALL mod cons, complete with small, perfectly formed kitchen, a wood burning stove (free logs) and a comfy double bed with spectacular pillow views of the Black Hill. In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Plus you will enjoy complete seclusion and peace and quiet!

The Nest At Walnut Tree Farm

Relax and enjoy a stay on a smallholding in Herefordshire. The upper floor of a one bedroomed annex with its own shower-room. On the landing is a small area with facilities to make your own breakfast, including microwave and three quarter size fridge. Own entrance, a small patio area at front. Off road parking. Hosts live in the main house. The accommodation is on the edge of a village so no street lighting. Village shop and local pub in walking distance.
