The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! The 1/2 bathroom is located just a short walk away in the laundry room for the resort as well as an outdoor shower. Also shared beach,dock, boat,canoe,kayak rental for use!

The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, gas grill and yurt woodstove. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking

The yurt is located on a 30 Acre Equine Rescue ranch. It is a 4 season 20ft yurt in the middle of the ranch with a beautiful view of Mustangs (American Legends). All proceeds from rental will go back to the rescue. There is electric, an outhouse a short walk away, a cold water spigot close by. Minutes away from Pleasant Lake for swimming, a local winery & 38 minutes from Ann Arbor. We offer tours and chances to interact with equines, including American Mustangs!
