Enjoy privacy in this beautifully handcrafted cottage with arched ceilings. The cottage is 2 miles from downtown Goshen - a vibrant small town with restaurants and shops. It's 1 mile from Goshen College, 45 minutes from Notre Dame and 25 minutes from the Amish town of Shipshewana. The cottage is beside a fruit, nut and berry orchard and gardens. It's adjacent to a city bike trail that links to the Pumpkinvine nature/bike trail. It's close to a train crossing (with whistle) and a busy street.

Private Entrance Guest Suite on the River

Stay in our studio apartment suite with private exterior door entrance. Hosts live in the rest of the house. From the backyard you can fish, kayak/canoe, paddle board, enjoy a bonfire, grill, and relax by the river. There's a king memory foam bed, sleeper sofa, and 49" TV. Remote work friendly with spacious workspace desk, fast WIFI, and coffee. The closet has a mini food prep area with mini fridge and microwave, and grill out on back patio. It's a quick 15 min drive to Notre Dame.

Tiny Retro Studio for One Person

TINY studio for ONE. Non-smoking inside & out. Our typical guest is a busy academic, intern, medical worker or businessperson. This TINY studio is located in an old 4-unit apartment house, so there is some in-house sound transfer. Our neighborhood is usually quiet, but not always. The main entrance (keyless) is a SHARED ENTRANCE to our family home, and the steps to the lower level basement are right inside the front door. The lower level is a designated space for our guests.

Lovely one bedroom apartment where you can relax, work, or play amidst the beautiful nature around Goshen Dam Pond and Mill Race Canal. Great birding, biking, and fishing. (Bring bikes, fishing gear, kayaks, and binoculars.) Community: Goshen College and Goshen Hospital are walking distance. Close to downtown restaurants, Janus Motorcycles, and Greencroft Communities. Country setting. Apartment above our garage. Attached to our house. No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties. No shared space but with the shared wall, you will here sounds from our space including garage door, voices, kitchen noise, dogs may bark, etc. we try to keep noise levels down but we live here and you may hear us. WiFi in this location is sometimes spotty.
