The gallery and apartment is owned by an artist, who designed the space to show his work. Guests will have access to the whole gallery, but for rent is only the private apartment adherent to the gallery, including a small kitchen, a combined living sleeping area with a loft style bathtub and attached separate bathroom with shower. The other sleeping area can be separated by movable walls and has an extra bathroom with shower and toilet as well. Guests also have access to the back yard until 10 pm. Our aim is, to welcome all our guests personally and show them around and help them getting started in Berlin. Since we are also living in Berlin we are happy to help if any difficulties occur during the stay. It's Mitte, means closed to all cultural attractions, shopping and nightlife, but still quiet and you don't feel like living in a "bar". I like to call it the "new quiet Mitte" since recently a lot of luxury apartment buildings were constructed next to existing architecture, so it's for Mitte a pretty quiet neighbourhood, but Gendarmenmarkt, Checkpoint Charlie, Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstraße are all within easy walking distance (10min) Subway station (U-Bhf) Spittelmarkt 2 min walk. Several busses 3 min walk at Leipziger Str. Walking distance to Gendarmenmarkt, Checkpoint Charlie, Alexanderplatz and Friedrichstraße about 10 min. You can only access your apartment through the gallery, which may be gently used by the artist. Your apartment is private and will during your stay not be accessed by us. There is easy access to public transport making exploring easy and convenient.

The apartment can accommodate 5 people. The bedroom has a 160x200 double bed. The living room is equipped with a sitting corner including a 140x200 sleeping sofa and a single sleeping sofa chair. The way to metro, bus and tram stations is short. Restaurants, super markets and museums are close by. We do have an elevator.

I offer a central guest apartment in the basement of my art gallery. In a few minutes you can reach the Museum Island, the Humboldt Forum and Alexander Platz. Since the apartment is in the basement of the gallery, it has no daylight! The two bedrooms are separated only by a curtain! I use Wed-Sat bathroom and kitchen with! Guests have their own key and are completely independent. Please confirm with booking request that you accept the conditions!

Centrally located in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin's most beautiful area, in a quiet street with nice restaurants, cafés and lots of green! Netflix is available on both TVs, as well as a fast internet connection (250Mb/s), washing machine and Nespresso machine with capsules selection.

The apartment is a 5 minute tram ride from the central station. The apartment retains the original wall painting and wooden flooring from the 19th century. The apartment has impressive high ceilings (not in the bedrooms!) and windows.
