The kitchen includes appliances and cookware, with the outdoor area offering a propane grill. Complimentary firewood is provided for the firepit.

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

When/if you do decide to step out into the world, you can play, shop, Fish, and Hike at nearby Mohican State Park. While Amish Country is just minutes away, with some of the best food, furniture, and shopping!

Mohican Cabin Private Getaway

Your own private cabin in the woods! A great getaway adjacent to Mohican State Forest and Mohican area activities. There is no TV in the cabin, so you can enjoy the natural setting of the cabin without distraction. NOTE: there is a walking path and steps to get to the cabin, steps up to the front door, and an open staircase to the sleeping loft. The driveway to the cabin is up hill and gravel, accessible by all cars in the Spring/Summer/Fall.

Private, tranquil, and beautiful setting for this cabin getaway. Secluded, yet conveniently located 3.5 miles from Kenyon College, and 3 miles from Mt. Vernon's shopping, food, and entertainment. Covered porch and sitting area overlooking a small pond. One bedroom and a large loft with 2 twin beds. Please Note: The fireplaces are no longer available due to being damaged by guests. There is a fire pit
