Your Country Home - Private, quiet wooded setting

Modern house in the country with a reputation for sparkling cleanliness and 2 day minimums between guest stays. Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

Our space is in a small but fantastic town, perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. Rensselaer's unique art scene is renowned; check out over two dozen murals that grace our revitalized downtown. Play disc golf at Brookside Park-we have discs for guests' use! Our listing fee is what it is-no separate "cleaning fee." We'll always leave you with homebaked goodies, & make sure there are farm fresh eggs in the fridge. The historic Rock House is full of the character and charm of a classically-styled bungalow — window seats, a rock fireplace, and artfully designed living areas. Furnished for comfort, certain to charm. Guests can enjoy relaxing with cocktails, cooking in a fully furnished kitchen, or using a tandem bike to explore the neighborhood. Fido is welcome too. The Grand Pause Farm invites you to stay at our barn, overlooking 40 acres of a stress free environment, complete with ponds, wildlife, and beautiful sunsets . You will be in the country, and our cozy, quiet cabin can be enjoyed by the whole family. You can visit local parks and shopping at area stores. Due to COVID-19 we have blocked weekdays.
